Being Healthy All Around

Getting fit is about more than just exercising. It is more of a lifestyle change that can definitely be a great benefit for the rest of the your life. One of the most important things about losing weight is what we are putting in our bodies. We can not lose weight alone by just working out. We definitely have to fuel our bodies with the right things by eating healthy. Of course, there is nothing wrong with having junk food every once in a while. But when we put bad things into our bodies all the time, there are definitely health risks. For example, eating things with tons of sugar can definitely heighten your A1-C which can cause diabetes and other health issues. We have to be really mindful about what we are taking in and how we can make it better if we are not on the right path.

When I started my weight loss journey, I took an account of what I could and could not eat. I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, poultry and other healthy things. Fried and greasy foods are definitely not good for the body. I noticed that when I used to eat junk food and those greasy foods, I would feel so sluggish. I also noticed I was not as productive as I am now by taking full care of my body. Even if you are not over weight or obese, you still have to think about your daily routine and ask yourself if you are taking in the right things. Sometimes we get so busy with life. We do not realize the bad habits we begin to pick up until later when those extra irritating pounds have been put on, you have to go to the doctor to get a check up, and you have to hear bad news about your health. So today think about how you can make your routine better with the food you are eating and begin to work on what you know you can do better.

Here is one of my favorite meals I am eating today. I love using a crock pot because it can be used for so many healthy meals. With this meal, I cooked chicken and added my veggies to slow cook all day until the chicken was good and tender. This is a delicious healthy meal and great for my meal prepping for the week.
